This 4–5 day spiritual tour covers key Hindu and Buddhist sites in Uttar Pradesh: Varanasi (Kashi Vishwanath, Ganga Aarti), Sarnath (Buddha’s first sermon), and the historic Ramnagar Fort. It continues to Prayagraj (Triveni Sangam,) and Ayodhya (Ram Janmabhoomi,), offering a deep dive into Indian culture, heritage, and spirituality, best visited from October to March.
Tour Highlights
Upon arrival at Varanasi Airport or Railway Station, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your pre-booked hotel. After check-in and some time to refresh, you will proceed for a temple tour of Varanasi. The visit includes the New Kashi Vishwanath Temple (BHU), also known as the Birla Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Tridev Mandir, and Bharat Mata Mandir.
In the evening, you will visit Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremony held between 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM. The Aarti is a grand Hindu ritual performed by priests with rhythmic chanting of Sanskrit mantras, ringing bells, drums, cymbals, and the offering of lamps to the holy River Ganga, worshipped as a goddess in India. The entire atmosphere becomes spiritually uplifting and majestic. Guests may choose to watch the ceremony from the ghat or enjoy an optional boat ride on the River Ganga (direct payment basis).
After the ceremony, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Varanasi.
Early in the morning at around 5:00 AM, you will visit the sacred Old Kashi Vishwanath Temple, followed by Annapurna Temple, Vishalakshi Temple, and Kal Bhairav Temple, which hold immense religious significance. After returning to the hotel, breakfast will be served between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
Later, you will proceed for an excursion to Sarnath, an important Buddhist pilgrimage site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. The sightseeing includes Deer Park, Dharmarajika Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, and the impressive Dhamek Stupa. You will also visit the magnificent 80-foot-tall Buddha statue, various monasteries, and view the beautifully polished Lion Capital of Ashoka.
After exploring Sarnath, return to Varanasi for an overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM, you will drive to Prayagraj, which takes approximately three hours. Upon arrival, visit the sacred Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati. Devotees may take a holy dip at the Sangam, and arrangements for performing rituals can be made upon request. You will also visit Bade Hanuman Temple, Anand Bhawan, and Alopi Devi Temple.
In the evening, continue your journey with a four-hour drive to Ayodhya. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay in Ayodhya.
After breakfast between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM, you will explore Ayodhya with a local temple tour by auto. The sightseeing includes Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Hanuman Garhi, Nageshwarnath Temple, Kanak Bhawan, and the serene Saryu River. Ayodhya, known as the birthplace of Lord Rama, holds immense spiritual significance and offers a peaceful and devotional atmosphere.
After completing the sightseeing tour, you will be transferred to Ayodhya or Varanasi Airport/Railway Station for your onward or return journey, marking the end of this spiritually fulfilling tour.
